Shareefa is the Office Manager at AcuityX, bringing over six years of experience in administration and operations, along with extensive expertise in examination services from her time at the British Council in Sri Lanka.
Recognised for her attention to detail, organizational efficiency, and calm leadership, she plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of daily operations.
Her background in academic operations, paired with certification as a language trainer, gives her a unique blend of operational and educational insight. Currently pursuing an MSc in Project Management, Shareefa is focused on strengthening her strategic and project leadership skills.

Dan has over 20 years of experience in Financial services, holding several executive roles across multiple geographies and functions primarily in HSBC. He has led teams globally, focusing on complex transformation programmes in Digital Banking, Risk (including Financial Crime Compliance), Regulatory Development, Customer service, and strategic change. His proven track record of results-based delivery in the Retail Banking and Wealth Management sectors has seen him deliver significant improvements across multiple markets in Europe and the Middle East.
In his most recent role, Dan led the design and delivery of a strategic reset plan that has delivered record revenue and customer growth for an international bank in the UAE. This required building a new leadership team to deliver customer, digital, and data strategies while reducing underlying costs and growing the customer base to its highest level in over 10 years.
Dan’s career to date has included executive leadership roles at regional and country levels, which have seen him work closely with various stakeholders in regulatory and government bodies. Additionally, he has retained leading consultancies to deliver major change programmes.
He has a deep understanding of consumer banking trends and is passionate about challenging existing ways of working to deliver improved customer and financial outcomes. His functional experience includes P&L delivery, customer segmentation strategies, operational effectiveness programs, digital banking build and delivery and financial crime risk management.

DCathy is a Advisory Partner at AcuityX with over 25 years of international healthcare experience, holding leadership positions in the UK, Ireland, and the UAE. She is a certified executive coach and mentor with an MBA in Project Management. Cathy was instrumental in establishing Ireland’s first private colposcopy clinic. She served as a Clinical Leader at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, contributing to its successful opening and achieving the prestigious Magnet Award.
Before joining AcuityX, Cathy was the Chief Clinical Quality and Safety Officer for Nexus, a London-based wellbeing platform. She is also the Founder of OakTree Mentoring, an award-winning program that supports nurses and midwives globally. Through mentorship and holistic solutions, OakTree addresses healthcare challenges like burnout and retention.
Cathy’s expertise spans healthcare startups, quality improvement, and leadership coaching. She holds EMCC Global and ICF certifications, reflecting her commitment to innovation and best healthcare practices.

David is a Advisory Partner at AcuityX with over 20 years of experience across multiple sectors, including higher education, start-ups, and non-profit organisations. He specialises in strategic leadership, stakeholder relationship management, and building high-performing teams. He has a proven track record in leading global transformation and change management initiatives in Ireland, the UK, the USA, South Africa, and the Middle East.
David has held notable positions, such as Chief of Staff and Advisor to the Provost at MBZUAI, where he focused on strategic academic and student affairs implementation. He served as an Expert Advisor at UAE University, where he increased student employability by 40% through transformative programs. Additionally, David was the Chief People Officer in EdTech, successfully scaling a global startup by 700% within a year. He also held the role of Executive Director of Careers Service at the University of Cape Town, achieving a top national employer ranking. He served as Deputy Dean at the University of Cape Town, where he led institutional change during significant social movements.
David is finalising a Doctorate of Business from SBS Swiss Business School. He earned a Master’s in Educational Leadership from the University of Hull in 2007, a Graduate Diploma in Guidance Counselling from the University of Limerick in 2002, a Higher Diploma in Education from the National University of Ireland in 1999, and a Bachelor of Arts from St. Patrick’s College in 1998.

Mat is a Partner and Co-Founder of AcuityX and works across multiple practices, including technology, financial services, education and government.
Mat has divided his career between teaching, administration, and consulting. For the past decade, he has been an executive search consultant, placing C-suite executives and senior executives in leading non-profit and private organisations in the Middle East, North America, Europe, and Africa. His expertise is reflected in his broad client portfolio.
Mat previously worked with Korn Ferry, where he worked in education and government. Prior to this role, he worked across all sectors at Odgers Berndtson.
Mat holds a bachelor’s degree in education, health, and physical development and an MBA from the University of Newcastle, Australia.

Known for her commitment to client success and unwavering dedication to excellence, Audrey established a reputation as a trusted advisor in the realm of company structure and early-stage business advice.
Driven by a passion for learning and bolstered by years of local experience with a vast regional network, Audrey has delivered on specialised recruitment for start-ups and has orchestrated the establishment of companies poised for success.
Prior to AcuityX, Audrey worked as a Marketing Manager and Sponsorship Specialist at Yas Marina Circuit, founded and exited a successful company – Pro Partner Group and has an illustrious career in Digital Marketing working across France, England and the UAE.

Mike is an accomplished Occupational Psychologist and Executive Coach. He has over 25 years of international expertise in Assessment and Development, Talent Management, and Leadership and Strategy Development. His career has spanned influential leadership roles across renowned institutions such as Saville and Holdsworth, GlaxoSmithKline, BSkyB, Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Russell Investments, and the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA), as well as ADQ and Lunate.
With extensive experience developing leaders and leadership teams globally, Mike has operated throughout the Asia Pacific, UK, USA, Europe, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, and the UAE. This diverse background enables him to effectively coach and facilitate a wide range of clients, as he possesses a proven track record of coaching executives from various professions, industries, and cultural contexts.
In parallel to his corporate and consulting endeavours, Mike has also taught Leadership at prominent international business schools in Spain and China. His role as an EQUIS corporate reviewer has further enriched his understanding of university business schools and their operational frameworks.

Bernar is a seasoned professional with over 30 years of experience in the banking and financial institutions sector. He is a Partner and Co-Founder of AcuityX and a subject matter expert in Finance, Investment Banking, Global Markets, Treasury, Strategy, and M&A.
He began his career at HSBC Australia in 1994, holding several finance positions, including Treasury and Global Markets Finance, and then ran the futures desk. He then moved to HSBC Asia, where he held several senior management positions, including deputy CFO and COO, Global Markets in Shanghai, and MD, head of business management for Hong Kong and Macau.
From 2014 to 2023, he was based in the Middle East with NBAD/FAB, where he held senior management positions in Finance, Strategy and M&A, and more recently was the CFO for the Investment Banking, Corporate Banking and International Divisions.
Bernar holds a business degree in Accounting & Finance from the University of Technology, Sydney.
